Jennifer Aniston launches her new perfume
A year in the making, Jennifer Aniston has launched her new perfume in London. The fragrance was to originally be called “Lolavie” but is now just “Jennifer Aniston”. The ad campaign is natural and goes along with how she describes her fragrance as “a non-perfume, sexy and clean. Floral, but no too flowery.”
The world’s most expensive Barbie
Barbie’s creators, Mattel, have commissioned a jeweler of the stars, Stefano Canturi, to create the world’s most expensive Barbie doll. Canturi accessorized the 12-inch icon to create Barbie by Canturi, which is priced at $600,000.
According to Mattel’s Barbie Collector.com, Canturi created a necklace and ring for Barbie in conjunction with the festivities surrounding the recent release of the Barbie Basics dolls in Australia. The Barbie Basics is a group of 12 dolls with a dozen different faces of the world. Each doll comes with a different basic black outfit.
The key piece of Barbie by Canturi is the necklace. It contains a 1.00 carat pink diamond with a square emerald cut that is framed by 3.00 carats of white diamonds.
The pink diamond is a registered tendered stone of an Australian Argyle mine. The necklace and ring for Barbie are reminiscent of pieces from Canturi’s Cubism collection.

Eva Mendez on Allure August 2010
When asked how it feels to be typecast as the Hot Babe, Mendes is matter-of-fact. “I’m OK with being pigeonholed right now because I created most of it…”, she says. “If I don’t want to be offered sexy roles, then I shouldn’t be on a humongous billboard half-naked… But I want to be on that billboard… You can pigeonhole me now… But it won’t stay that way.”
Sure, Mendes has a killer body, but she’s also learned how to play up her strengths on photo shoots: She sucks in her stomach and tilts her body to the side while keeping her butt down. “We can all look a lot better than we actually are,” Mendes says. “You just have to know how to work it.” And if you ask her, she has no choice: “I’m the girl who eats a margherita pizza before a photo shoot where I have to be scantily clad. I’m very defiant.”
Amber Rose for YSB Magazine
I am not a fan of Amber Rose style, but she actually looked great here. Some may say she has no talent, and she is pretty much just known as Kanye’s eye candy- but you can’t deny that she does look amazing on camera.
On her personal style: “I was always a ‘weirdo’ – well that’s what people would call me [...] I had a mohawk when mohawks weren’t cool… I would get different pieces from the thrift store and put them together and make it dope. People would ask me where I got my outfits from, and I would always say the thrift store. I never denied it. I did my own thing ever since I was a little girl[...] I still do my own thing! Whatever makes me feel good. If I want to wear clown pants and a church hat then that’s what I’m gonna wear. [Laughs] Well, maybe not that extreme, but I could definitely pull it off.” Check out the rest of the interview at YRB Magazine.
The Mac and Disney Collaboration
MAC has some of the cutest collaborations! I Loved the Hello Kitty collaboration, so I’m actually pretty excited for this one. This Villans collection includes Cruella De Ville of “101 Dalmations” fame, the Evil Queen from “Snow White,” Maleficient from “Sleeping Beauty” and Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog.
There will be a total of 40 bold colours in the collection, including of lipstick, powder, lip gloss and blush shades, ranging in price from $12 to $29.50, and divided into four collections with the characters’ images. They will be available September 30th.
“Disney gave us the colors used when these characters were drawn throughout their history,” said Jennifer Balbier, vice president of product development for MAC, noting that Cruella and the Evil Queen share more “real woman” shades, such as red lips and peachy blush. Maleficent is “pure fantasy,” said Balbier, noting that offbeat purples, blackened shades and pearlized nails were used. Dr. Facilier headlines the new Magically Cool Liquid Powders. “This is a featherlight powder that goes on like a mist and either sets or enhances foundation, but also lends dimensionality on naked skin,” said Balbier.

Louis Vuitton Official World Cup Luggage
The World Cup Trophy is one of the most coveted athletic accolades in the world, so it should come as no surprise that the iconic symbol of one of soccer’s greatest honors would travel in the ultimate style–a Louis Vuitton leather-bound trophy case. The luxe custom-made trunk, commissioned by FIFA and covered in the signature Louis Vuitton monogram, housed the solid 18-carat gold trophy on its trip from Paris to South Africa. Featuring all the luxurious brass corners and chic dark-brown lining that we’ve come to expect from LV, the hard-cased trunk was specially created in Asnières, France, under the direction of Patrick Louis Vuitton and will be unveiled at the final match on July 11! To create your own custom-designed traveling cases, head into any Louis Vuitton store and place a special order or visit louisvuitton.com for more information.
